Podcast Description:

This a very fun podcast with a lot of Sichuanhua and jokes. The host takes all kinds of show-biz gossip as the starting point to make fun of the celebrities involved. The host and his guests often improvises dialogues interpreting the gossip with funny voices and accents. They then add “asides” sometimes in Sichuanhua that can make you laugh out loud even if you don’t fully understand. Apart from making fun of these famous people, they make fun of each other as well. For example, the host tried to correct the guest’s pronunciation of the English name “Jackson” and the guest ended up with a very exaggerated and funny pronunciation. The way that one of the hosts says “iTunes” is great too. The hosts are very aware of different dialects and accents and are good at mimicking say a visitor from Taiwan or Hong Kong.
