Description of the podcast:

This is a Christian podcast having two types of episode which were recorded on Sundays: praise episodes(敬拜贊美) and sermon (講道) episodes. In the praise episodes, the congregation get together in the church with a band, having prayers, showing their thankfulness to God. The band sings hymns in a “pop music” style. In these episodes, people tell their life story and thank God for all of the good things in their life. The hymns are very catchy and a great way to practise listening in Chinese. Some of them are faster and some of them are slightly slower.

In the sermon episodes, the sermon is told by the pastor of The Banner Church. These sermons are interesting and tell the congregation Bible stories with a link to the modern day. The sermons also teach listeners a knowledge of prayers. Many of these episodes are separated into series of courses.
